The Mind is a Noise Machine

When you catch yourself following a thought trail, a thought trail that may or may not be helpful to you, the first thing you should do, as the observer of you mind, ask yourself, “how is this thought contributing to my day?”  Why would you do this you say? Well, in order to control your mind, you need to step outside of the thought process itself.  Many people find that they lose themselves in a thought and the mind takes over running the show.  The mind lures you in to take ownership of a thought by appealing to your ego, making you think you have a vested interest in the thought being worked on. Gratitude breathing assists with clearning the mind.

This article is based on a lesson over at http://Way2Bliss.com Have you ever had trouble staying focused on one thing?  Does you mind keep throwing all these ideas and thoughts at you whilst your trying to concentrate on something and you wonder “where in the hell is all this stuff coming from”?
